For the longest time, Kareena has maintained her rule of only working opposite A-listers in her all her films. In fact, in the past she has refused a few films as she was not happy with the co-stars of her film. However, recently she broke her rule of working only opposite A-listers with her last film Veere Di Wedding. In the film, she was paired opposite Sumeet Vyas, who is a popular internet celebrity, but definitely not an A-lister.

Ashoka

Yes, the Badshah of Bollywood also has a particular clause in his contract. Owing to an old injury, Shah Rukh is scared of horses and has a clause in the contract that he will not be doing a horse riding scene in his films. However, during his historic epic Ashoka, he was seen breaking his rule, overcoming his fear and riding a horse.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara and Brothers

When Akshay Kumar was the biggest Casanova in the industry, nobody expected him to become such a devoted family man post his marriage. The credit probably goes to Twinkle Khanna and their two beautiful kids that Akshay totally adores. As a result, he has a clause in his contract which states that Akshay will not be working on Sundays and that day is devoted to his family. However, Akshay broke this rule not once but twice during the shoot of Once Upon A Time Mumbai Dobara and then again at the time of Brothers to complete the films on time.

Student Of The Year

There was a time when Karan Johar and Shah Rukh were such thick friends, that Karan Johar openly declared that he will not direct movies without Shah Rukh in the lead role. However, he broke his rule in 2013 and made Student Of The Year that launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, that surely did not have Shah Rukh in it. He also went on to make Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead in 2016, but it featured Shah Rukh in a small cameo.
