These Bollywood Celebs Were Accused Of Having Children Outside Marriage. Some Are True, Some Are Theories

After the recent drama with the engagement of Telugu superstar, Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai’s engagement, when the fans of the star trolled and shamed her, Renu has come up with her side of the story. In a recent interview, she revealed that she was not in favour of obtaining divorce from Pawan Kalyan even after he sired a daughter with another woman while being married to her. While the story has taken the internet by storm, it reminded us of similar incidents in Bollywood.

There are a few Bollywood celebrities who also had lovechild with another woman while they were still married to their wives. With certain instances like that of Boney Kapoor and Raj Babbar is known to all, some are rumors and some are just bizarre conspiracy theories.

Here are some of the Bollywood and their lovechild scandals, some we believe and some we don’t

Aamir Khan

Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has also been embroiled in the not so perfect lovechild controversy. A British journalist named Jessica Hines alleged that she was in a relationship with Aamir Khan while he was shooting in London for Ghulam. During Aamir’s second marriage with Kiran Rao, Jessica revealed that Aamir is the father of her son Jaan. Although the actors refuted all the rumors, many still believed in Jessica’s side of the story.

Boney Kapoor

Back in the 80s, the Boney Kapoor- Sridevi scandal took the Bollywood by storm. Boney was still married to Mona Shourie Kapoor when he fell madly in love with Sridevi. Soon it was reported that Sridevi was pregnant with Boney’s child. Boney Kapoor divorced Mona Kapoor and married Sridevi when she was already seven months pregnant and soon gave birth to their first daughter who we now know as Jahnvi Kapoor.

Raj Kapoor

Among many bizarre conspiracy theories that float around in Bollywood, one of the most bizarre is the one that surrounds Dimple Kapadia. A lot of people believe that Dimple is actually the lovechild of Raj Kapoor and Nargis who had a torrid affair in the 50s.

Shah Rukh Khan

Yet another bizarre lovechild conspiracy theory is the one about Shah Rukh Khan’s third child AbRam Khan. It is known that AbRam was born out of surrogacy, but many theories about his birth floated around in Bollywood. While some said that he is a lovechild of Aryan Khan, some believed he is the lovechild born out of the extramarital affair between Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

Kamal Hassan

This was another scandal that shook not just Bollywood but the Tamil film industry as well. Kamal Hassan who was married to classical dancer Vani Ganapathy began an affair with Sarika and soon Sarika was pregnant with Kamal’s child. Even though she was unsure whether Kamal would divorce his wife, she went ahead and gave birth to a baby girl whom we now know as Shruthi Hasan. However, Kamal finally divorced his wife and married Sarika.

Raj Babbar

This is perhaps one of the most tragic tales in Bollywood. Raj Babbar was married to theatre artist Nadira Babbar when he fell in love with actress Smita Patil. Raj abandoned his family to be with Smita and soon Smita was pregnant with his child. Raj was still not legally divorced from Nadira when Smita gave birth to their son, whom we now know as Prateik Babbar, but died within two weeks due to delivery related complications. After her death, Raj went back to his wife and family and Prateik was bought by his maternal grandparents.
