Hauli Hauli From De De Pyaar De: The World Would Have Not Lost Out On Anything If This Song Was Not Made

Whether it’s the trailer or the songs, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De is surely generating a lot of buzz. The film has put a comic spin on modern relationships and the fresh and somewhat unique casting of Ajay and Rakul Preet has piqued interest.

Directed by Akiv Ali, the film is going to hit the theatres on 17^th June. The makers today decided to drop the third song from the film Hauli Hauli and here is what we have to say about the song.

Yet Another Remake

The song is yet another addition to the ever increasing number of remakes in Bollywood. Punjabi pop star Garry Sandhu, who sang the original song, is a part of this song as well. The additional vocal has been given by Neha Kakkar. No points for guessing that the song has been remade by the Tanishk Bagchi.

The Cast Looks Gorgeous

Not that we have not noticed it before, but Rakul Preet Singh looks seriously hot in the song. She is sexy and sweet in equal measure and has got the moves. Tabu and Ajay Devgn also look drop dead gorgeous and it is fun to see the entire cast of the film grooving to a high-energy number together.

Nothing New

Despite being remakes, there are a few songs which manage to bring something new to the table. Hauli Hauli sadly is not the song. It is the same beats we have heard before an umpteen number of times and it is a little ‘thanda’ to even set the temperatures high on the dance floor. It is just one of those party songs that people might dance to it if it plays, but no one ever is going to request the DJ for the song.

Disappointing Choreography

Even in the choreography department, the song is totally lackluster. Ajay Devgn is anyway not the most gifted dancer and Tabu is not in her ‘Rang De’ mode here either. Rakul Preet tries to add the much-needed oomph but there is just not enough meat to bite into.
