Judgemental Hai Kya Trailer: The Kangana Ranaut And Rajkummar Rao Starrer Promises To Be A One Of A Kind Murder Mystery

After all the controversies and delays, the trailer of Judgemental Hai Kya is finally here.  Starring Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles, the film has been directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film is going to be Kangana and Rajkummar first collaboration after Queen that was immensely loved by all.

The film, which has marred into controversy due to its initial name, has now been okayed by opposing parties and will hit the screens of July 26^th. Here are our takeaways from the trailer.

Murder Mystery With A Twist

The film, as evident from the trailer is a murder mystery involving one Bobby and Keshav played by Kangana and Rajkummar respectively. It seems from the trailer that both of them are suspects in a murder. The story follows them as they try to outsmart each other and the police of course.

One Of A Kind

The texture and treatment of the film seem pretty unique. While it looks like a typical whodunit thriller, there are layers that are unique. Kangana looks layered and eccentric and Rajkummar’s character just seems shady. It is also interesting given Kangana’s character, who seems to be engaging in a battle of wits with Rajkummar’s character is also obsessed by him. The whole narrative looks deliciously complex.

Rajkummar And Kangana In Their Top Form

When it comes to roles that require certain amount eccentricities, no one does them better than Kangana. Rajkummar, on the other hand, can make any role drop-dead amazing, but this one with hints of grey to his character gives him the opportunity to explore his acting range. Both the actors are two of the best that Bollywood has to offer and the film seems to be doing an excellent job of tapping into the never-ending talents of these biggies.

Dark Humor

It may have taken us a while, but finally Andhadhun, last year made us really sit up and appreciate and enjoy dark humor. This film also seems to be in that zone. In fact, the quirk, the eccentricities, the murder mystery and of course the dark humor makes it look like the film has been a little inspired by Andhadhun, if not in anything else then in texture.
