Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Teaser: The Magnum Opus Will Instantly Remind You Of Baahubali, Thugs Of Hindostan and Manikarnika

The teaser of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, starring Telugu mega-star Chiranjeevi in the lead is here. The film is based on Narasimha Reddy, a hero buried in the pages of history, who is actually said to be the first to rebel against the British government in the country.

The 1 minute 50 seconds long teaser looks grand and the scale is pretty awe-inspiring. From elaborate sets and costumes, to massive war-scenes, the film actually gives off the vibe of a magnum-opus  that the makers had promised earlier. Chiranjeevi looks fierce as Narasimha Reddy and brings his larger than life aura and charisma on to the screen in a way only a mega-star of his caliber can.

The film also marks Amitabh Bachchan’s foray into Telugu film, however, the teaser only focuses on Chiranjeevi and shows only fleeting glimpses of other cast members that includes Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kicha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupati and Jagapathy Babu.

Directed by Surender Reddy the film is being produced by Ram Charan along with Surekha Konidela and Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. While our minds have developed a way connecting the visuals of large scale extravaganza with Baahubali almost automatically, this one very evidently has the Baahubali hangover. The teaser and some of the scenes remind you of films like Thugs of Hindostan and mostly Manikarnika. Check Out:
