Total Dhamaal’s Mungda Has A Sizzling Hot Sonakshi And A Potential To Be A Dance Floor Staple

The new song from the upcoming film Total Dhamaal is out and it truly has the potential to become the next party anthem. The song is remake of the superhit song ‘Mungda’ which had Helen immortalizing it with her moves back in 1977. While Sonakshi Sinha does a fairly neat job, Ajay Devgn is hilarious in the song, probably not on purpose.

Starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffery and Ritiesh Deshmukh, Total Dhamaal is going to be the third installment of Dhamaal franchise. Directed by Indra Kumar the film is going to hit the theatres on 22^nd March.

Sonakshi In Her Hottest Avatar

Reprising the song which featured the dancing diva Helen, Sonakshi sure does a good job. The actress looks red hot in the song and seriously setting the temperature soaring. Whether its the teal gown with a smokey eye or the glittery number, Sonakshi is looking hotter than she has ever looked in any of her songs, including Gandi Baat.

A Decent Remake

Keeping in sync with the trend of this season (and many seasons before this) this song is also a remake of the chart-topping song from 1997 film Inkaar. However, unlike most remakes, music directors Gourov-Roshin and Aftab Khan who has mixed and mastered the track has done a pretty good job at re-creating the number. Sung by Jyotica Tangri, Shaan, and Subhro Ganguly, the song has a foot-tapping quality to it and has all the potential to become a dance floor staple.

Sonakshi Got Moves

Even though Sonakshi has done quite a few item numbers, apart from Go Govinda in Oh My God, we have rarely got to see her dancing skills. In this number though, choreographed by Adil Shaikh, Sonakshi is nailing the moves. Even though the choreography is fairly simple, it makes for quite an amazing looking music video.

Ajay Devgn’s Dancing Skills

We all know that Ajay is not the most gifted dancer, however, it looks like his dancing skills have only got worse. He enters the song midway and does what can barely be called a dance move and looks hilarious while doing it. You need to watch it to believe it.
