    One of the most popular authors in our country, Chetan Bhagat is a well-known name in the Entertainment industry as well. After working as an investment banker for almost a decade, it was in 2004 that he realized his love for writing and gave us the masterpiece Five Point Someone, which was later made into the blockbuster film 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. After the success of his novel, Bhagat not only became a bestselling author but also wrote screenplays of films such as Salman Khan’s Kick and Sushant Singh Rajput’s Kai Po Che. In fact, he was also one of the producers of Half Girlfriend.

    Well, his fans are in for a big surprise. Chetan Bhagat recently took to his official social media handle to announce his next project. As a resolution for New Year, the author will be directing his first film Revolution 2020, based on his 2011 novel of the same name. Along with a video sharing the news, he wrote: “In my motivational talks, I urge people to try new things and get out of their comfort zone. This new year, I decided to do the same. I’d like to turn director. The first movie I’d direct would be Revolution 2020. Excited. Nervous. Have to learn a lot. Need your blessings!”

    An author, a producer, a celebrity judge on the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 7 and now a director. There is not much that Chetan Bhagat can’t do. Well, after his big announcement the next question is which actors would he choose to play the lead roles in Revolution 2020. Any guesses?
