Is Salman Khan Collaborating With Rohit Shetty For Kick 2?

With Bharat, Salman Khan has once again showed us that he is still the real deal when it comes to mass entertainers. While Bharat is raging a storm at the box-office, Salman is gearing up for his upcoming projects. The shoot for Dabangg 3 is already under way and he has also started working Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt.

Another project of Salman that has been making headlines is Kick 2. The film will bring back the jodi of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez and if reports are to be believed then it will also be the much-awaited collaboration between Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty. Yes, the Simmba director might direct the film. Talking about the film, a source revealed, “Sajid Nadiadwala has been working on the script on Kick 2 relentlessly in the past one year. They have fine tuned it and now, it's almost locked. Salman returns with Jacqueline Fernandez for the sequel and the producer and the superstar discussed the idea of roping in Rohit to direct part two. Sajid is extremely fond of Rohit and he has already discussed the whole idea with him.”

“Rohit will be a perfect fit to make Kick 2 because the film is high on action and car chase sequences, something that Rohit is a master at. Plus, bringing Rohit and Salman's combination for this film will add more star value to it,” the source added.

Just a few days back Salman had addressed the rumor of him working with Shetty and said they are talking about working together. In fact, it is not just Kick 2 but Rohit and Salman might also collaborate for another project that Rohit planning to come up with.

All we know is we simply can’t wait for this ultimate ‘dhamaka’ to happen because Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty might just be the ultimate dream team when it comes massy commercial entertainers and we can’t even imagine the fireworks that they will bring out on screen together.
