We have simply used words like grand, extravagant and opulent too many times in the last one month, thanks to the weddings of DeepVeer and NickYanka. Who knew the Ambani wedding would make us all rethink our definitions of the very same words.

It is not even Isha Ambani's main wedding yet and just the pre-wedding ceremonies pack enough glamour to put all the Bollywood weddings and award shows and international concerts combined together, to shame. As if Shah Rukh, Aamir, Salman, Priyanka, Deepika, Ranveer, Abhishek, Aishwarya along with any Bollywood celebrity that you can think of, dancing at the sangeet ceremony of Isha Ambani was not enough to dazzle us, Mukesh Ambani got arguably the biggest pop star in the world to perform for his darling daughter. Nobody, in their wildest dreams, would have imagined Beyonce performing in a sangeet ceremony, but Ambanis made it possible.

But do you know how much the business mogul had to shell to make this possible? Wel, Beyonce charges around 2 million which is close to 15 crore rupees for one performance, but reportedly she has charged a little more to perform at the Ambani wedding. Yes, more than 15 crores! Grab a chair, wet your throat, breathe and let that sink in.

Just to compare, Priyanka and Nick Jonas who had one of the most glamorous weddings ever, spent around 4.5 crores on the three day extravaganza. So, basically, almost three weddings like that of Nick and Priyanka could be solemnized for the amount that Mukesh Ambani just paid to Beyonce for her performance.
