1 Year Of Chhichhore: Shraddha Kapoor And Varun Sharma Pay Tribute To Their Co-Star Sushant Singh Rajput

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput bid the world a final adieu on 14^th June this year. His untimely demise left the entire nation heartbroken, but the superstar left us with many memories and super hit performances to remember him by. While Sushant left us in awe each time he shined on the silver screen, Chhichhore was undoubtedly one of his best films and performances. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the coming of age comedy drama not only taught us to keep trying and achieve our dreams, but also made us understand that failure does not make you a loser.

As the film completes a year today, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma took to their official social media handles to remember Sushant, who was not only a wonderful actor but also a great co-star. Paying a tribute to the late star, Shraddha shared a video on Instagram featuring his happiest on-screen and behind the scenes clips and pictures with the caption: “In loving memory... #1YearOfChhichhore.” Varun, on the other hand, wrote ‘Kammo’ with a heart and shining star emoji.

While Shraddha played the role of Sushant’s girlfriend/ex-wife, Varun beautifully portrayed the character of his college best friend who lovingly called him ‘Kammo’. Also featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty and Tushar Pandey, the film was a heartwarming story of friendship, love and perseverance and will help us remember Sushant as the charming and sweet Anirudh "Anni" Pathak, who won our hearts with his bright smile and expressive eyes.
