100 Hours 100 Stars: Zareen Khan Says She's Been Dreaming About Airports, Calls People With Time To Kill 'Lucky'

Zareen Khan feels people who need to find ways to kill time during the lockdown are indeed lucky. The actress who is spending the quarantine with her mom and sister in her Bandra home in Mumbai says she hardly finds it difficult to pass her time at home. Given the fact that she has household chores cut out for her since she doesn’t have full time household help she isn’t really struggling with the question of what to do at home.

Talking about the lockdown in a chat with Fever FM as a part of the special tribute to India’s covid-19 warriors, 100 Hours 100 Stars, the actress revealed that she’s learnt how now to take things for granted during this difficult time.

Zareen admits she’s an avid traveler and says she misses the feeling of hopping on an airplane and going to new places. “The only thing I feel I am missing out on is traveling. I am an avid traveler and it been months now since I am sitting at home. I have now begun dreaming about airports,” the actress laughed and said.

“For me airport is not only about airport looks, in fact it was never about airport looks. If you see me you would notice I am always dressed comfortably and I don’t put in extra efforts but the fact about just being in an aircraft and just and going to a new place, oh god I am just missing that,” she added.

Speaking about the country she’d visit first after the lockdown is over she promptly says, “First of all I want to visit Dubai because that’s where my best friends live and they have a 4-year-old daughter who's birthday is in August. I am sure by then we will not be able to travel. I am really missing them so if there’s no work trip planned (after the lockdown) then I’ll take a trip to Dubai.”

During the quarantine, while several folks are finding creative ways to kill hours in a day Zareen has a different outlook. On being asked she promptly says, “I don’t know who these people are who feel how ‘how do I pass time’. They are very lucky who have nothing to do at home and are just relaxing, maybe they have a lot of help at home. I have also been seeing videos where they will say ‘Oh not what to do’ they are just waking up, eating and sleeping. They are very lucky because that’s not how my day goes.”

“I do wake up late, now that the month of Ramzan has started we only sleep after shehri. So I wake up by 1. By the time I wake up, I get on to my share of the household chores and since I am no expert at home household work so I take three hours to do what someone would normally do in one. In the evening I connect with my fans, I have recently joined Tik Tok and also started my YouTube channel to do some things there. If there’s any time left then I am learning new easy recipes since I don’t know how to cook, watch some belly dancing video since I love it. So I really don’t know where my day goes.”

Well, all those folks working from home certainly feel you Zareen!
