21 Yrs. Of Hera Pheri: Suniel Shetty Feels Years Passed In The Blink Of An Eye, Akshay Kumar Reveals His Favorite Scene

The iconic Priyadarshan comedy Hera Pheri completed 21 years since its release today. The movie starring the terrific trio Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty in a comedy of errors still cracks us up like the first time we saw it and for the social media savvy generation of today the movie with meme gold.

Celebrating this big milestone year of the film Akshay and Suniel made special posts giving themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.  They also remembered actors Om Puri and Neeraj Vohra who were associated with the project but are no more today.

Suniel in a post on Twitter shared a snapshot from the film and wrote, “No wonder we underestimate how quickly time flies. It seems I blinked, and 21 years went by. What a film we made @priyadarshandir @akshaykumar @SirPareshRawal @GulshanGroverGG #Tabu. Missing #OmPuri ji very dearly today...”

On the actor’s tweet, Akshay posted a nostalgia-filled reply: “Agreed! Even we didn’t know back then what a film we were making, each scene better than the other. Specially love this one : dhoti Genius of Priyan sir and epic dialogues by late Neeraj Vora.”

The makers of this epic comedy followed up on the film with a Hera Pheri 2 which was equally entertaining and now the fans hope for nothing more than to see this trio return for Hera Pheri 3. While there has beena  gap of 15 years since the last Hera Pheri film released, fans still wait for the third installment of the franchise which was announced by the makers but sadly hasn’t been made yet.
