5 Reasons Why We Are Excited About Salman Khan's Race 3

Salman Khan starrer Race 3 will hit the theatres tomorrow on the occasion of Eid and as is the trend with a Salman Khan release, the film is expected to break and establish numerous box-office records thanks to the infinite stardom of Bhai. Race 3 will bring together an ensemble star cast that includes Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Anil Kapoor and Daisy Shah.

The film is directed by Remo D'Souza who has previously directed films like ABCD and ABCD 2. He takes over the director's chair from Abbas-Mustan who directed the previous 2 installments. Race 3's trailer received a great reception from the fans of Salman Khan and the advance bookings are in full swing. Here are the expectations from Race 3:

Box-office: One of the most awaited films of the year, Race 3 is releasing during Eid and it is obvious that the film featuring the biggest crowd puller in the country will set the box-office on fire. The actor is having a dream run at the box-office and hasn't given a flop since 2010's Dabangg. Plus, a well-established franchise means that with the addition of Salman's star power, its graph is only going up. 

Bobby's back: The film also marks the comeback of Bobby Deol in Bollywood. Though he was seen in last year's Poster Boys, hardly anyone saw it and the actor will be seen in a mass entertainer in a negative avatar. Bobby has aced roles in thrillers like Gupt, Ajnabee and Humraaz etc, and this role is again bound to make him popular again. 

Bhai's swag: Salman Khan has replaced Saif Ali Khan as the lead of the franchise. The franchise is getting a major push with Salman's addition as the actor gives the film a universal appeal and he's doing what he does best, mouthing one-liners and performing daring stunts. 

Going global: The film has been shot in the scenic locales of Ladakh, Thailand and the UAE and the budget has upped multiple folds in order to give the franchise a global appeal. The thrilling action scenes and attractive cinematography along with Salman's star power make Race 3 a truly international film.

Shifting gears: While the previous 2 films of the franchise had a heavy dose of the suspense & thriller with characters deceiving and double-crossing each other every 15 minutes and new twists being revealed from time to time, Race 3 will focus more on the action scenes as is evident from the trailer. The suspense formula is taking a backseat which made Race franchise successful in the first place as Salman Khan had suggested changes to the script.
