5 Years Of Ki & Ka: Kareena Kapoor Says Taimur Was Conceived After The Film; Arjun Kapoor Did The Film For His Mother

Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Ki & Ka, a unique film based on gender equality, completed 5 years since its release today. The milestone made Arjun Kapoor nostalgic and he posted a picture with a fun piece of memorabilia that reminds him of the project.

The actor was seen holding a mangalsutra which reminds us of the role reversing poster of Ki & Ka. Through his post, the actor made a case for a sequel of the film and wrote, “A piece of memorabilia from Ki & Ka!!! Missing the set and missing the on-screen Ki. This film was personal as I chose it for my mom and it’s now even more personal after working with Bebo and Balki sir... I think we need a sequel! What say, Kareena Kapoor Khan?”

Directed by R Balki the movie showed Arjun’s character taking charge of the household while Kareena was shown as the bread winner of the family. Echoing Arjun’s sentiments about the film Kareena too shared a post featuring the actor and the filmmaker. Sharing memories associated with the project the actress wrote, “A film I thoroughly enjoyed, a film quite bold, a film after which Tim was conceived, a film that must be made into a sequel... only cause I want to work with @arjunkapoor and Balki once again... Arjun don’t worry, I will continue to say chappal laooooo”

Well, we hope that the appeal of both the atcors is heard and we get to see a sequel to the project soon.
