RIP: Veteran Actor Nana Patekar’s Mother Passes Away At 99

Life is transcient. No matter how much one tries to cling to the falsifications of life, it slips away like sand from the palm!

Jealousy, love, controversies, greed, anger, enemity everything ends on the funeral pyre. Nothing outlives death. Everything is just so futile. 

This is very unfortunate and we are at a total loss of the words however we would like to inform you that veteran Actor Nana Patekar’s mother Nirmala Patekar has breathed her last on January 29th. She was 99 years of age.

Her cremation happened in Oshiwara (a Mumbai suburb) at 5:30 this evening. Many film industry biggies were present at the crematorium to pay their condolences. Thw actor was very close to his mother. In some of the videos that featured him after the cremation of the body, he was seen weeping profusely. In most of his interviews he has expressed his love for his mother and he was even frank in admitting that he was scared of losing his mother despitre knowing her age. His son Malhar was also present while the last rites of  his mother was being performed. 

According to latest reports, it is being said that Nana was not at home with his mother when she breathed her last. It is really unfortunate for a mother if the son is not around during her last moments. No one there to coonsole her painful moments, no one there to pacify her agony before she bids adieu to world in which she live for so many years. And for the son it is even more grieving because he will not be able to see his mother ever again. We at Desimartini pray her soul rests in peace.
