A Square In Poland Named After Amitabh Bachchan's Father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Actor Calls It 'A Moment Of Extreme Pride'

In his recent post the actor proudly shared how a square in Poland has been named after his father and renowned poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Sharing a picture of sign that read ‘Square Harivansh Rai Bachchan Wroclaw’ Amitabh wrote in his post, ‘The City Council of the City of Wroclaw, Poland has decided to name a Square after my Father .. there could not have been a more apt blessing on Dushhera than this .. a moment of extreme pride for the family , for the Indian community in Wroclaw .. and India .. JAI HIND.’

The news is obviously something for the Bachchan family to celebrate. The family is extraordinary with each individual having their own iconic set of achievements that have done the nation proud including many accredited to Amitabh Bachchan himself.
