Aahana Kumra had made a Bollywood debut with Alankrita Srivastava’s ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’. The actress has become a popular face on the web and was also seen portraying Priyanka Gandhi’s character in ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ earlier this year. In a recent interview with Zoom TV, the actress has revealed how her Lipstick Under My Burkha producer Prakash Jha had once made her uncomfortable on the sets of the film but then softened the blow by calling him polite.

In the interview, the actress has said that she had been filming the intimate scenes with Vikrant Massey when Prakash Jha was walking by the sets. It is then that he made some remark which made Aahana extremely uncomfortable. She said,

“I remember once Mr. Jha walked in and there was a scene, where I am filming the sex that is happening. Then Mr. Jha walked in on the set and he passed a remark and it was so uncomfortable to hear that from him. I just went to Alankrita and said 'he is not my director why he is on the set and why I have to hear a remark from him, with all due respect he is a producer.’"

She then also goes on to call him polite. Actually, Alankrita had then gone to Prakash Jha and asked him to leave the sets. He politely complied and left. Aahana clarified saying,

"Alankrita asked him to leave and he left. He understood that space. He understood the fact that we were not comfortable with him around. He just politely left and that's really nice of him."

Lipstick Under My Burkha had been applauded for its content and the strong female characters it portrayed. Aahana will next be seen in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera which will also star Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Prakash Jha is currently busy directing a film called 'Satsang'.
