Aamir Khan And Akshay Kumar To Clash On Christmas 2020

Gear up for the Christmas of 2020 as it is going to see the biggest clash that Bollywood has seen in a long time. It is now confirmed that Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey will battle it out at the box-office. Box-office analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on Twitter

Christmas has traditionally been Aamir Khan’s box-office slot, but this time it looks like Akshay Kumar is going to claim a share of his Christmas pie.

Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an official remake of Forrest Gump would be directed by Secret Superstar director Advait Chandan, while Akshay’s Bachchan Pandey would be directed by his Housefull 4 director Fahad Samji and is going to be an intense drama. The first look of the film was released today on social media.

Interestingly, Akshay’s role in Bachchan Pandey which was earlier named LOL: Land Of Lungi was previously also offered to Vicky Kaushal and there was also a rumor around Shah Rukh Khan doing the role.

The last time these two superstars clashed was in 1994 when Andaaz Apna Apna and Suhaag battled it out at the box-office. Akshay’s Suhaag, of course, emerged as the winner but Aamir Khan and Salman Khan’s Andaaz Apna Apna later on went on to became a cult classic in later years.
