Aamir Khan Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Quarantines Himself At Home

Laal Singh Chaddha has been the sole focus of Aamir Khan’s life in the past one year. In fact, to avoid any kinds of distractions while working on the much awaited project, the superstar reportedly turned off his phone and planned to keep it that way till the release. But he didn’t stop there. Aamir also quit social media a day post his birthday after thanking fans and followers for their wishes. Calling it his last post, he announced that the account of Aamir Khan Productions will now share updates on him and his projects.

Sadly, the actor will now have to take a break from work whether he wants to or not, as he has tested positive for novel coronavirus. The actor’s spokesperson has shared an official statement which reads, “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

Also starring Aamir’s 3 Idiots co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh, Laal Singh Chaddha is a comedy-drama written by Atul Kulkarni and directed by Advait Chandan. It is expected to hit theatres on Christmas this year. Well, we hope the actor takes rest and feels better soon. Here’s wishing him a speedy recovery!
