Aamir Khan Thanks Akshay Kumar For Moving Bachchan Pandey’s Release Date And Avoiding Clash With Laal Singh Chaddha

In the past few years, celebrities of the Hindi film industry have become very understanding towards each other’s needs when it comes to moving the release date of films to avoid a clash at the box office. This trend has not only helped improve the collection of some movies but has also strengthened the bond between actors and filmmakers. The latest superstars to join the club are Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

Aamir, who is currently busy gearing up for his much awaited comedy drama Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, took to his social media handle today to give his fans a surprise. In a heartfelt post, he thanked Akshay and Sajid Nadiadwala for moving the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey to avoid a clash with his project. He wrote: “Sometimes all it takes is one conversation. Thank you to my friends @akshaykumar & Sajid Nadiadwala for their warm gesture of moving the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey at my request. I wish them the very best for their film. Looking forward to it.”

Originally scheduled to release on Christmas 2020, Bachchan Pandey will be a masala entertainer and is reported to be in a Rowdy Rathore space. The first look of the film featured Akshay looking fierce with a moustache, sporting a black lungi, gold chains and a tilak. According to the latest buzz, Bachchan Pandey will now hit theatres on 22nd January 2021.
