Aamir Khan To Make His Web Debut Soon, And No, It’s Not With Mahabharat

Aamir Khan had been making headlines for his web debut. It was said that the actor would be a part of a web series on Mahabharat, that will spin for seven seasons. Now, it is being reported that the actor has found another project to make the OTT debut.

According to a report in Mid Day, it will be a multi-series magnum opus that will be streamed on Amazon Prime. A source was quoted saying, “Aamir's team of writers has conceptualised and developed the material. It was recently pitched to the heads of the streaming giant, who have been keen to collaborate with the superstar and looking for a project that is worthy of him. The show is a human interest drama.”

The team also confirmed that it won’t be Mahabharat. Even though it is being stalled for some time now, the source assured that it will happen later. He said, “Mahabharat is also in development, but that will happen at a later stage. For now, there are three well-rounded ideas that are being worked upon.”

Well, no official confirmation has been made yet, but we hope that it’s made soon! Right now, Aamir Khan is busy with the Forrest Gump remake, Laal Singh Chaddha, which will co-star Kareena Kpaoor Khan and will hit the theatres in Christmas 2020.
