Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha To Release On Christmas 2021; Actor Jets Off To Turkey To Finish Shoot

Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the shoot of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha came to an abrupt halt a few months ago. Directed by Advait Chandan, the much awaited comedy drama was initially supposed to release on Christmas this year. Well, latest reports suggest that Aamir and Kareena’s film will now hit theatres exactly a year later, that is, on Christmas 2021. A tweet shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh reads: “NEW RELEASE DATE... #LaalSinghChaddha - starring #AamirKhan and #KareenaKapoorKhan - will now release on #Christmas2021... Costars #MonaSingh... Directed by Advait Chandan... Produced by #AamirKhan, #KiranRao and #Viacom18Studios.”

As reported earlier, the makers have decided to complete the remaining shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha in Turkey. As compared to other countries, Turkey has done incredibly well to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus and is expected to be a comparatively safer shooting location. On 8^th August, Aamir travelled to Turkey and was clicked with some of his fans. The pictures have gone viral on social media and netizens are absolutely loving the actor’s salt and pepper do! Also featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Mona Singh in important roles, Laal Singh Chaddha is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film is loosely based on the super hit American drama Forrest Gump and has reportedly been filmed in more than 100 locations of India.
