Aamir Khan’s Sister, Nikhat Khan, All Set To Make Her Bollywood Debut With Saand Ki Aankh!

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh has been on the pipeline for a fairly long time. The film, that was initially titled Womaniya, was delayed because of the controversy surrounding the title. It was renamed Saand Ki Aankh and the shoot began in February itself. This movie is about the shooter daadis, Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar – two sisters who are the oldest sharpshooters. 

As the filming came to an end yesterday, we have learnt that Saand Ki Aankh will mark the debut of Aamir Khan’s sister Nikhat Khan. Nikhat Khan has largely stayed out of the limelight. She had been associated with one of Aamir’s film, Tum Mere Ho. While Aamir’s father directed the 1990 film, Nikhat produced it. A source close to the film said,

"Along with the character of the shooter daadis, there are several roles that are integral to the film's plotline. One will be essayed by Aamir Khan's sister Nikhat Khan. This will be her debut in films and although not many knew of her when one of the makers met her and suggested her name, the entire team knew she was best suited for the role."

But what will she play in the film? The same source revealed,

"She plays a Maharani in the film. It's not a cameo or an appearance. Instead, it's a full-fledged role. Her character has some really important sequences."

Saand Ki Aankh is all set for a Diwali release this year!
