Well, today the actor shared a poster of his 2012 film Shanghai and penned a special message which read: ““Shanghai”, released in 2012. A contemporary Indian take on the Greek novel “Z” by author Vassilis Vassilikos. Directed by Dibakar Banerji this film puts systemic corruption in politics front and center, with devastating impact. Extremely relevant today. Looks like these days one could make a film about the corrupt practices of Bollywood!”
In an earlier post, Abhay had revealed that many award shows had nominated Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif as main leads of their film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, while Farhan Akhtar and Abhay were demoted to ‘supporting actors’. For the uninitiated, the film was about three friends, their road trip and the bond they share.
