Abhishek Bachchan And John Abraham To Team Up Again After Dostana For Ayyappanum Koshiyum Remake?

Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham had created a record of sorts when they paired up together 13 years back for Dostana. Their chemistry was crackling and the audiences simply loved them. But, post this, they did not pair up. But that was until now. The duo seems to be all set to team up once again.

A report in Pinkvilla mentions that they are in talks for the remake of the Malayalam film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. John Abraham had acquired the rights of the film last year, but there had been no development because of the pandemic. A source now revealed, “John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan have been trying to collaborate on a film again ever since the release of Dostana. However, nothing really materialized. Ayyappanum Koshiyum is finally a quintessential two-hero film that does justice to their persona and gives equal standing to both John and Abhishek. They have started a conversation on the film and the paperwork should be done soon.”

The Malayalam original starred Prithviraj and Biju Menon in the lead. Not just the official confirmation of the same is yet to be made, but it is not even clear as to who would reprise which role. What's your pick?
