According to Lara Dutta, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are tying the knot this year

Lara Dutta has just mistakenly confirmed Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding, a piece of news that the fans of the Bollywood couple have been dying to hear. The Bell Bottom actress while speaking of younger couples in Bollywood said that Ranbir and Alia will be tying to knot this year during an interview.

The actress has been turning heads these days for her look as Indira Gandhi in the Bell Bottom trailer. Lara’s dramatic transformation into the former Prime Minister made her hardly recognizable in the trailer even though she has a substantial screen time in it.

Lara got talking about the film and the industry in general during an interview with Times Now and while talking about BTown relationships said, she’s from the ‘older generation’ and might not know which actors are dating. She added, “I might say something about some couple and I wouldn’t even know if they are still together or not.”

When prompted with names of Ranbir and Alia she said, “I believe that they are getting married this year.”

While Ranbir and Alia’s wedding has only been spoken of in rumours, Lara’s comment certainly makes fans look forward to the rest of this year. Ranbir has last year in an interview spoken about getting married and said, “I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”
