Actor Kushal Punjabi’s Last Rites To Happen Today, His Wife And Son Are On Their Way To Mumbai

Last evening i.e. on the 26^th December 2019, actor Kushal Punjabi took the decision of taking his own life and he hung himself to death. The actor is survived by his son and his wife.

Nothing is known as yet about the reason behind this extreme step. There are speculations about failed marriages and depressed life. But no one knows what the reality is. There were tensions in the Punjabi household pertaining to the lack of closeness between Kushal and his wife Audrey. So much so that reportedly the couple was contemplating divorce.

Kushal’s wife and son were away from him in Shanghai when the unfortunate incident took place. According to our sources, Kushal hung himself inside the third floor of the Alsid building. Kushal had rented the Bandra apartment. Almost immediately after the incident, when Kushal’s father tried getting in touch with him over the phone, he was unable to and therefore he sought the help of actor Chetan Hansraj. Chetan immediately went over to his place. After incessant bangings on the door when there was no answer, he took the help of the fellow residents of the building and broke the door open. That’s when he found Kushal’s body suspended from the ceiling! His body was then taken to the Cooper Hospital In Andheri (A Mumbai suburb) where his autopsy had been carried out.

We also have come to know that Kushal’s wife and son have already left Shanghai and are flying down to Mumbai tomorrow.

The last rites of Kushal Punjabi will be performed at the Santacruz crematorium at 12:00 PM tomorrow i.e. 28^th December.

We wish his family all the strength to cope up with this huge loss. At this time of despair, our heart goes out to his parents and his little one so that they remain strong!
