According to reports, Kriti Sanon seems to have been roped in to play the character of Sita in the film opposite Prabhas. There has been no official confirmation about the same. while some have claimed that she is in consideration, others have asserted that she has been confirmed as the female lead.

Earlier, rumours had been doing the rounds that Kiara Advani and Anushka Sharma has been approached for the role. However, nothing has yet been confirmed.
