Adipurush: Om Raut Opens Up About Working With Kriti Sanon; Talks About Prabhas & Saif’s Prep

Om Raut’s magnum opus Adipurush is undoubtedly one of the biggest, most talked about and most awaited films of our country at the moment. The mythological film brings together a supremely talented and adored star cast including South superstar Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Sunny Singh as Lakshmana. The team is around 30 percent into the shoot and the film is expected to arrive in theatres on 11^th August next year. While some are eagerly waiting to see Saif portray the character of Ravana, others are looking forward to Prabhas and Kriti’s fresh pairing.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Raut opened up about his experience of working with Kriti. He shared, “She has finished her part and I think she's phenomenal. I mean she's so genuine and pure, and it's just a great experience working with her. Kriti has nailed the mental clarity that one requires to play the part that she's playing. She's also getting trained because she has to speak in Telugu, which is not the language that she could speak in, besides focusing on her diet and everything. It just shows the passion and dedication that she brings to the table. So, it was a lovely experience working with her.”

Talking about Prabhas and Saif’s prep for their characters, the filmmaker revealed that the two actors have undergone a remarkable physical transformation and there is massive action involved as well. Even as they shoot, the two continue to work on it. Well, it will be quite exciting to see Prabhas and Saif opposite each other as Rama and Lankesh! Don’t you think?
