Adipurush: Saif Ali Khan To Begin Shoot For The Prabhas Starrer From Mid March?

One of the most awaited films that would be releasing next year on August 11th is Om Raut's ambitious project, Adipurush. The film, which is a retelling of Ramayan, would have Prabhas playing Ram and Saif Ali Khan turning into Lankesh. Om Raut had earlier confirmed that Saif would be taking a paternity break for his second baby. Now, it seems like he is all set to return to the sets super soon.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Saif Ali Khan is all set to join from mid-March, which means in just a few days. A source was quoted saying, “While Prabhas is already shooting for the film, Saif will join him from mid this month. However, he will initially begin with his solo portions and will eventually start shooting with Prabhas. Saif will be shooting in a green screen setup, while the film’s leading lady is also expected to join them in April.”

A lot of names had come up for the leading lady, but there has been no official confirmation as to who would play it. Names from Anushka Sharma to Kriti Sanon to Kiara Advani have all come up. We wonder who would the leading lady be. But one thing is for sure, we have super high expectations from this one.
