Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal are not expecting their first child yet, clarifies singer

Recently singer and Indian Idol host Aditya Narayan announced that he will be retiring from hosting duties soon. He shared that 2022 will be the last year he will be seen as a host on television as he feels it is time to move on to other things. Talking to ETimes, Aditya stated, “I was a teenager when I started hosting on the small screen, and by the time I am done next year, I will probably be a father.” Well, soon there were reports which suggested that Aditya and his wife Shweta Agarwal are expecting their first child.

In a chat with Pinkvilla today, the singer denied the reports and promised that he and his beautiful wife will make an official announcement ‘if and when it happens’. Aditya was quoted saying, “We are still a year and a half away from the end of 2022. So, I am quite sure that with all the time in hand and all the romance that’s happening, it’s bound to happen. But I believe it was misconstrued as something that has happened.” The singer went on to add, “All I was saying is, I am looking forward to it. I got married, bought a new house and am now looking forward to taking this forward.”

Aditya and Shweta tied the nuptial knot in a grand wedding in December last year. It was an intimate ceremony in Mumbai with their close friends and family members in attendance.
