Aditya Narayan Denies Being Bankrupt; Says ‘After Working For More Than Two Decades How Can I Go Moneyless’

Singer and Indian Idol host Aditya Narayan left his fans in shock yesterday when he told a portal that he has finished his savings during the lockdown, which was declared to help stop the spread of novel coronavirus. He mentioned that he has Rs 18,000 left in his bank account and if he doesn’t begin work from October, he would not have any money. Aditya went on to add that he may have to even sell his bike. Now, in his latest interview the singer has clarified that he is not bankrupt.

Talking to TellyChakkar, Aditya shared, “I generally mentioned that I have bought a new apartment before the lockdown so being celebrity even, I have to think about EMIs and if pandemic extends for a longer period all of us have to suffer some way. I casually mentioned that mere 5 lakhs kat gaye hai EMI ke liye aur mere pas abhi 18K bache hai. But that doesn’t mean I have gone bankrupt and I have no money left me. After working for more than two decades and that too working continuously how can I go moneyless?”

Meanwhile on the personal front, Aditya recently announced that he will tie the knot with long time girlfriend Shweta Aggarwal by the end of this year. The two made their acting debut together in Bollywood with the 2010 horror film Shaapit.
