Taapsee Pannu Shares A Throwback Picture To Winning A Race In School, Vicky Kaushal And Anurag Kashyap Pull Her Leg

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has always made headlines for voicing her opinions, the actress doesn’t hesitate at all from sharing her views with the audience. She stands up for what she believes in and that’s one of the rarest quality an actress in Bollywood possesses.

Recently, the hashtag “#whythegap” has been trending online, it talks about the gender gap prevailing in the society, Also many B- Town stars have been posting their childhood pictures along with their stories attached on their Instagram handles. They talked about how they were blessed enough to get certain benefits that many children are unable to get today. Starting from Twinkle Khanna who nominated her husband and actor Akshay Kumar the challenge was extended to Taapsee Pannu, who also shared her story.

In a recent Instagram post, Tapsee shared her picture from her 'bachpan' where she can be seen receiving the first prize in a sports competition at school. The actress was wearing her school uniform and was holding her certificate with her hair tied in a cute braid. She talked about how many children do not get the "support system" they need while growing up. 

In her caption, Taapsee wrote, Sports have been an integral part of my life. School race tracks became my war zone every year and thanks to a supportive family and encouraging school teachers I could have my moment of glory. Unfortunately, many kids don’t have that support system #WhyTheGap @stc_india," 

While her cute picture from her childhood was doing the rounds over the internet, celebs including Vicky Kaushal, Anurag Kashyap posts hilarious comments Vicky Wrote, "Pakka do chaar ko dhakka zaroor maara hoga," Anurag wrote, "Chalo koi award to mila." 

Meanwhile, Taapsee is gearing up for her upcoming projects. Her recent release Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari among others has received a lot of positive response at the box office. Taapsee is now preparing for her film Sand Ki Aankh along with Bhumi Padnekar. The movie is a biopic based on the life of sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar.
