After Akshay Kumar, Govinda Tests Positive For Covid-19 After Showing Mild Symptoms, Under Home Quarantine

Amidst the rampantly rising cases of coronavirus in the country, Bollywood actor Govinda has informed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. In the past few weeks, several stars from the entertainment industry caught the virus.

The Hero No. 1 star informed news agency IANS that he is under home quarantine after his reports came back positive on Sunday morning. He said, “I have been testing myself and taking all the necessary precautions to keep the coronavirus away. However, I tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. Sunita (wife) has just recovered from Covid-19 a couple of weeks back.”

Talking about his treatment Govinda added, “I am under home quarantine and under able medical guidance. I request everyone to please follow all the necessary precautions and please take care.”

This morning actor Akshay Kumar too informed fans that he has tested positive for Covid 19. Before this two Bollywood stars, several actors who have been working through the second wave of Covid-19 which is sweeping the country have been found positive for the virus. Alia Bhatt, Bapi Lahiri, Kartik Aaryan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aamir Khan are some other celebrities currently recuperating after contacting the disease.
