After Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora Tests Positive For COVID-19; Actress Currently In Home Quarantine

Hours after Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor revealed that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Malaika Arora too has confirmed testing positive for COVID-19. According to a report in ET, the actress too is asymptomatic and quarantined at home. She said, “Yes, I have tested positive. I am asymptomatic and have self-quarantined at home. I will bounce back healthier and stronger.”

Beau Arjun Kapoor too is symptomatic and he took to his social media to reveal that he had tested positive. He had written, “It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I'm feeling ok and I'm asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus. Much love, Arjun.”

Incidentally, a few days back, reports had been doing the rounds that as many as 7-8 crew members of India's Best Dancer, where Malaika is a judge and some from the sets of KBC 12 had tested positive for COVID-19. The channel had issued a statement that none from KBC 12 had tested positive. However, whether the infection spread from the sets of India's Best Dancer has not been confirmed.

While Arjun had stepped out to resume shoot for the cross border love story alongside Rakul Preet Singh and was spotted in Bandra just a day back, Malaika had been shooting for the reality show. She had also visited sister Amrita Arora's house for a house party on 1st September, where even Kareena Kapoor Khan was present. We are praying for her speedy recovery.
