After His Grand Homecoming Rishi Kapoor Reveals When He Plans To Return To Films

Rishi Kapoor is back to India after a long wait of 11 months and 11 days. The actor returned from New York with his wife Neetu Kapoor and ever since his return to the homeland, celebrations are at its peak. As soon as he reached Mumbai, the actor expressed his gratitude with a tweet that left everyone emotional. Rishi Kapoor was also warmly welcomed by his kids Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.  Now as the senior actor is back in town, his fans are curious to know about his comeback in the films.

During an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi Kapoor said that once he returns to Mumbai, he will take around 15 days to get over his jet lag and settle down completely. Post that, he will return to his shoots. Just Before leaving for the US, Rishi Kapoor was shooting for the film The Body. It featured Emraan Hashmi, Shobhita Dhulipala. The senior actor had finished shooting for major portions back then, now he is left to shoot for the rest of the portions with the filmmakers. The makers of The Body disclosed that they plan to begin their shooting by the end of September or early October.

Even Sanjay Dutt wishes to work with Rishi Kapoor on his home production, Pandit Gali Ka Ali. During an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Sanjay talked about the film and expressed his wish on working with Rishi Kapoor as he was back in Mumbai. Sanjay said, “It’s too early to comment on the film as Rishi sir has just returned to India. I have been in constant touch with both Sanju sir and Rishi sir since the last few months. I am looking forward to seeing him back at work.” While, a source told the daily that apart from the projects, Rishi Kapoor is planning to sign another film, “It will roll this year itself, before he starts work on Pandit Galli Ka Ali”

Currently. Rishi Kapoor was spotted with Neil Nitin Mukesh and his father as they are close buddies. The pictures of Neil’s family and his daughter Nurvi were doing rounds over the social media also yesterday Alia Bhatt went to Ranbir’s house to meet Rishi Kapoor and spend some good time there.
