After His Rs. 25 Crores Donation, Akshay Kumar Contributes Additional Rs. 3 Crores To BMC For Making PPEs

Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to lending aid to the country’s battle against COVID-19. The actor who had previously won millions of hearts by donating Rs. 25 crores to the PM CARES Fund has decided he would stop at nothing when it comes to helping the cause and has now donated another Rs. 3 crores to BMC.

The Sooryavanshi actor has donated this amount to the Bombay Municipal Corporation to aid the making of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) for the health care staff and rapid testing kits. There are several Bollywood stars who have done their bit for to support the nation and the film industry in this hour of need.

Right from Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Salman Khan Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and several others have pledged their support to various causes including their assistances to daily wage workers in the film industry who are currently out of jobs.

Akshay Kumar so far had been known to express his love for the nation through his films but has in the times of this pandemic shown that he means to do more than just make films that do the country proud.
