After Katrina Kaif Walks Out, Kriti Sanon Comes On-Board For Vikas Bahl’s Comedy Drama With Amitabh Bachchan?

Earlier this year, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan were trolled on social media for signing Vikas Bahl’s next project, tentatively titled Deadly. Netizens slammed them for collaborating with the filmmaker who was accused of sexual misconduct. The charges were later proved false and Vikas’ name was cleared by Reliance Entertainment. However, reports suggested that Katrina walked out of the project due to unknown reasons. Well, it turns out that Katrina’s loss is Kriti Sanon’s gain!

According to the latest report shared by Peeping Moon, Kriti was approached for Vikas’ comedy drama Deadly and the actress has given a nod to the project. Once the dates are finalized, Kriti will sign on the dotted line and we can then expect an official announcement. Buzz suggests that Big B, who is currently in the Nanavati hospital getting treated for COVID-19, will be playing the role of Kriti’s father. Expected to go on floors by January next year, Deadly will follow the journey of Kriti’s character to self-discovery.

Well, we are super excited to see Kriti and Amitabh together for the very first time! Meanwhile, the actress is currently busy gearing up for her upcoming film Mimi. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the drama is a remake of the 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!
