    It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that Kangana Ranaut is the undisputed queen of Bollywood. After the immense success of her film Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana has been constantly receiving accolades on her direction prowess besides her acting. And now, the latest we have heard is Kangana has already finalised on her second project as a director. It would be an action film, an epic drama.

    And guess what, the script of the film too has been completed. Talking to a media portal, the Queen actress revealed, “I’m on the verge of announcing my next directorial venture. It’s an action film — an epic drama. It has taken a lot of my time. Currently, we are putting everything in order, but we have locked the script. We’ll be doing a photoshoot, soon after, which we plan to release the poster, too.”

    We further got know that just like Manikarnika, her next project is also based on a real life incident. The actress is further quoted to have said, “The film is mounted on a huge budget, but the film is going to be different from the ones that have been made on the big screen.” The actress is clearly fascinated with her next project.

    She also knows it for a fact that the budget for a woman-centric film is always an issue but at the same time she is pretty confident that she will easily be managing the funds for her next directorial.  “There are a lot of great stories to be told and actresses today are bringing a lot of business, too. I’m happy with the way Manikarnika worked for me — as an actor and also as a director. Now is the right time to start work on my second directorial project,” asserted Kangana.

    Before kick-starting the schedule of Panga, Kangana underwent intense training for kabaddi, and knowing Kangana and her love for perfection, we are sure she is going to be seen in a never seen avatar in the sports drama. 

    On the work front, Kangana was last seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and the film performed exceptionally well at the box office, and next, she will be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s sports drama titled as Panga. Also, Kangana Ranaut has been roped in to play former Tamil Nadu CM and veteran actress Jayalalitha in her biopic. While the film is titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi, it is going to be a bilingual film directed by A.L. Vijay, one of the leading film-makers from South.
