After Rahul Bose, Music Composer Shekhar Charged Rs. 1672 For Three Egg Whites At Ahmedabad Hotel, Calls It An ‘Eggxorbitant Meal'

The tale of celebs being greeted by exorbitant bills at luxury hotels started with actor Rahul Bose who shared a receipt of a purchase of two bananas at a hotel that charged him Rs.442 for it. Well, the incident went viral on social media and even had authorities stir into action.

Now, music composer Shekhar Ravijanii shared a similar experience when he was charged an eye-popping Rs. 1672 for just three boiled eggs that he ordered at a hotel in Ahmadabad. He took to Twitter to share the receipt for the eggs and called it an ‘Eggxorbitant meal’.  We wonder if Shekhar really paid the amount or raised the issue with the management.

Since July when Rahul Bose shared his experience at a Chandigarh hotel, netziens have been actively sharing their own experiences of being duped with over priced goods. Comedian and actor Kiku Shardda even joked about it sharing a bill for 78, 650 at a restaurant for a cup of cappuccino and tea but later revealed that he did not mind as he was in Bali and it converted to only 400 rupees in Indian currency.
