After Ranbir Kapoor, Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali Tests Positive For COVID-19; Alia Bhatt Goes Under Quarantine

Just this morning it was reported that actor Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for novel coronavirus. After uncle Randhir Kapoor hinted at it, the actor’s mother Neetu Kapoor took to her official social media handle to share the news. She wrote: “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions.”

Well, latest reports have revealed that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also tested positive for the virus. His mother, on the other hand, has tested negative but is still under quarantine as a precautionary measure. Soon after his test results came in, the shooting of his upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi came to an abrupt halt. Actress Alia Bhatt, who is playing the titular role, has now gone under quarantine as well after the filmmaker and her boyfriend Ranbir got hit by COVID-19.

In a report shared by Indian Express, a source revealed, “SLB has tested positive for Covid-19, and he is under self quarantine, Alia too has quarantined herself since SLB and Ranbir both have tested positive. Everybody who has come in contact with Sanjay have taken the test.”
