After Satte Pe Satta, Amitabh Bachchan’s Iconic Action Film Shahenshah To Be Remade? Find Out

While remakes are not a sure-shot at success, they definitely are entertaining. Take Shah Rukh Khan’s Don or Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa for instance. Well, according to rumors, Amitabh Bachchan’s 1982 action comedy Satte Pe Satta will soon be remade. However, there is still no confirmation about the cast of the film. While some rumors suggest that Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty are in talks with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, others indicate that Salman Khan will be collaborating with Kabir Khan for the film.

Well, much to the delight of fans, another one of Big B’s iconic films is being remade. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle producer Sangeeta Ahir, who has also been linked to the Satte Pe Satta remake, has registered the title of Bachchan ji’s action film Shahenshah with an intention to remake the classic. A source was quoted saying, “She has registered the title with IMPPA, but they are in process to get the rights. It will be a while before they actually get to the brass tacks.”
