After Siddharth Pithani's Arrest NCB Summons Sushant Singh Rajput's Domestic Helps For Questioning In Drug Case

The drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is once again picking up pace after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested the deceased actor’s flatmate Sidharth Pithani recently. Close to the first anniversary of the late actor’s death the NCB brought Pithani to Mumbai for questioning after having arrested him in Hyderabad.

In a more recent development, the NCB has now called in Sushant Singh Rajput’s domestic helps for questioning on Sunday. Neeraj and Keshav and Siddharth were reportedly at home on the day of Sushant’s death and discovered him dead in his bedroom on June 14.

On the matter, news agency ANI tweeted, “After Siddharth Pithani's arrest, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput's former domestic helps Neeraj and Keshav for questioning, in the drugs case linked to Rajput's death: NCB Mumbai”

While the NCB has in the past questioned and arrested many in the drug case linked to the actor’s death, they are now targeting people who were in the house with Sushant. Last year, the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty were also arrested in relation to the same case.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation which is leading the primary investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case is yet to deliver its verdict about the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.

Sushant died on June 14, 2020 in his Bandra based apartment. What was first reported to be a case of suicide unraveled to be a far more convoluted matter. The late actor’s family filed a case alleging that the actor was killed.
