After Winning Accolades For Her Acting Chops, Alia Bhatt To Now Sing One Of The Tracks In Gangubai Kathiawadi: Reports

It’s been a while since Alia Bhatt put her singing talent to use in one of her recent releases. Well, for those who miss Alia’s singing the actress seems to be doubling down on it and making up, as reports suggest that she will be lending her voice to one of the songs from her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Before Gangubai Kathiawadi reports were doing the rounds that Alia will be singing one of the songs in S.S. Rajamouli’s Hindi version of RRR in which she is starring opposite actor Ram Charan. The actress reportedly will also star in the number. Now we hear that Alia who is the star of the show in Gangubai Kathiawadi has also agreed to sing a song in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

On the subject, a Pinkvilla source says, "Alia is a really good singer, while Mr. Bhansali is a celebrated composer, so the duo decided to collaborate for a song in the film. The composition will be in a more intense space and both Mr Bhansali and Alia are looking forward to it."

The actress has previously sung songs in her films like Udta Punjab, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

The makers have already released the teaser of Gangubai Kathiawadi and Alia’s stark transformation into playing a sex worker from the ‘60s has already earned her accolades from all corners. The film which is still being shot is headed for a theatrical release on 30 July.
