Ahan Shetty to play the male lead in Aashiqui 3? Here's what we know...

Ahan Shetty is all geared up for the release of his debut Bollywood film, Tadap. The actor, who happens to be the son of actor Suniel Shetty, looked perfect in the posters of the film. Now, it looks like he is ready to sign his next.

If a report in ETimes is to be believed, then the actor is now being considered to play the male lead in Aashiqui 3. According to the report, T-Series honcho Bhushan Kumar was extremely impressed with the actor's performance in Tadap and that is the reason why he is thinking of casting the newbie for a big project like the third film of the Aashiqui franchise. There has been no official confirmation about the news though.

Ahan will be romancing Tara Sutaria in his debut film Tadap, which also happens to be the remake of the Telugu hit RX100. It was in March that the film was wrapped up. Earlier today, reports of him teaming up with Akshay Kumar for a Sajid Nadiadwala film were also doing the rounds. However, Akshay Kumar took to his social media and called it 'fake news'. We hope that this one turns out to be true!
