Ajay Devgn Heads To Hyderabad For Two Back-To-Back Shoots For Bhuj And Mayday; Read Details...

Ajay Devgn has quite a few big films geared up for release, but the pandemic had changed the plans. While audiences had been looking for to Bhuj: The Pride of India, along with Maidaan this year, it was just Tanhaji that Ajay fans had to be satisfied with. But now, the actor is back to work after eight long months. He has headed straight to Hyderabad, where he would be shooting for not just Bhuj but also Mayday!

According to a report in Mid-Day, a set has been created in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City for the 10-day schedule of Bhuj. A source told the daily, "Considering major portions of the war drama were filmed well before the lockdown, the makers have charted out a 10-day schedule, following which they can call it a wrap. Sanjay has returned to India. He has about three to four days' work on the film."

Well, while it would be a wrap for Bhuj, Ajay's work would continue as he would then start work on Mayday, where he plays a pilot again! The film would star Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh alongside him. According to a report in Mirror, "From December 11, Ajay jumps on to his directorial, Mayday. They will be shooting non-stop till January-end. Rakul will shoot from mid-December." The source added that following the Hyderabad schedule, the team will shoot in Mumbai and Mr. Bachchan will join the cast there.

It would only be after Ajay wraps up Mayday that he will start shooting for Maidaan. But needless to say, we would get to see Ajay Devgn pretty often on the screen next year!
