Ajay Devgn Reveals Why Luv Ranjan’s Film Is Getting Delayed, Confirms That It Will Happen!

It has almost been a year since Luv Ranjan had announced a film that will star Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor. Fans were naturally excited to see these two actors come together after Rajneeti. There were also rumours that Deepika Padukone might join the film. Ever since this news made headlines, the fate of the film had been shrouded in mystery. It has gotten delayed and rumours had been doing the rounds that the actors have walked out of the film. It was just in the beginning of this month that the director himself came forward and said that the film would very much happen. In fact, Shraddha Kapoor has also been confirmed opposite Ranbir. And now, Ajay Devgn has revealed why it has been getting delayed for so long.

While promoting his upcoming film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Ajay has revealed that the film with Luv Ranjan is in the pipeline but has been getting delayed. Talking to Pinkvilla, he has said, “It is happening but, because I am so stuck up, and pushing dates. It will happen by the end of 2020 hopefully.” The same portal quoted another source saying, “Luv has really liked the script and wants to make his most ambitious project which is a magnum opus. But with Ranbir Kapoor busy with Brahmastra and Ajay with his other lineups, it has become very difficult to manage dates of both the actors. But, hopefully, they are looking to roll next year-end.”
