    Ajaz Khan Granted Bail In Objectionable Facebook Post Case, TV Actor Tweets 'Justice Has Prevailed'

    Bigg Boss 7 contestant Ajaz Khan was arrested a few days ago from his Mumbai residence for sharing some objectionable content during a Facebook Live. The arrest on April 18 made headline given the lockdown prevailing in the country.

    The Tv actor had been summoned by the Khar police station for a statement post which he was put under arrest. Ajaz is now out on bail and has thanked his lawyers in a recent tweet where he also said that justice shall prevail.


    The police officials upon his arrest had confirmed in a statement, “He has been charged under section 153A and others of the IPC for promoting enmity among communities. Further probe is underway.

    Ajaz Khan’s lawyer Naznin Khatri represented the actor in court and said that section 153 A wasn’t applicable in his case as he only criticised politicians in the Facebook post.

    Metropolitan magistrate SN Shinde granted bail to the TV actor on a surety of Rs 1 lakh.
