Akshay Kumar Beats Will Smith, Jackie Chan On Forbes List Of Highest Paid Actors 2020; Only Bollywood Star On the List

Akshay Kumar is the only Bollywood actor, once again, to have found a spot in the Forbes list of Top 10 Highest-Paid Actors in the world. The list this year also has Dwayne Johnson or ‘The Rock’ as he is popularly called, topping the list once again while Akshay secured the sixth place on the list.

The actor who is currently shooting Bell Bottom in Scotland at the moment earned $48.5 million (roughly Rs. 362.88 crores) to find a place on the list while Johnson’s earnings for the year was a staggering $87.5 million putting him in the top slot. Akshay was on the number four position in 2019 with earnings of $65 million, while in 2018 the actor was on the number seven spot with earnings of $40.5 million.

Besides Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan was the last Bollywood star to feature on the list back in 2018. Most of Akshay’s earnings this year came from his several brand endorsements.

The other actors on the list are Ryan Reynolds on number the two spot with $71.5 million in annual income followed by Mark Wahlberg with earnings of $58 million. Akshay has beaten stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda [rank 7], Will Smith [rank 8], Adam Sandler [rank 9] and Jackie Chan [rank10] to be on the sixth spot right behind Vin Diesel.
