Akshay Kumar moved to tears seeing Ajay Devgn narrate a poem dedicated to Indian brave hearts: 'Kis Kis baat pe dil jeetoge yaar'

An overwhelmed Akshay Kumar took to Twitter showering praises on his Sooryavanshi co-star Ajay Devgn. The actor was moved by the poem in a now-viral video that has been narrated by Ajay. The Ram Setu actor in his original tweet mistook Ajay to have written the poem Sipahi and called him a ‘brilliant poet’.

The video was shared by Ajay on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, on Monday, as the nation remembered the martyrs of the Kargil War of 1999. Akshay shared the video and commended Ajay for it. "I’m not very expressive when it comes to emotions in real life. But this got me in tears. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a brilliant poet in you. Kis Kis baat pe dil jeetoge yaar (How often will you win our hearts),” Akshay’s tweet read.

The later realized that Ajay was not the writer of the moving words of the poem and corrected his mistake in a following tweet. He wrote, “Just got to know that the words of the very moving poem are by the amazingly talented @manojmuntashir. Narrated by @ajaydevgn.”

Manoj Muntashir replied to the actor’s tweet and said, “Whatever little talent I have will always remain grateful to you @akshaykumar sir, for letting me write for you time and again. I am glad #Sipahi is narrated so well by @ajaydevgn sir and is touching millions of hearts already. More power to our soldiers."

Ajay too responded to Akshay’s kinds words and replied, “Thank you Akki @akshaykumar for the nicest words on my ‘poetic’ side. The praise feels good especially when it comes from a friend & esteemed colleague. I also need to thank @manojmuntashir for the poetry —Sipahi.”

The two mega stars have collaborated on films like Suhag, Insaan and Khakee in the past. Akshay joins Rohit Shetty’s cop universe with Sooryavanshi in which Ajay has an extended cameo as his famous character Singham.
